Anyone ever hear of "Nemo" blocks?

I came across a whole box fllled with blocks, fiddles, pulleys, etc that my father bought a few years ago to build a sailboat...that never materialized and now I want to sell/give-away all this equipment.

Most of it is by a manufacturer named "Nemo" and the colors are black anodized with bright orange sheaves.

Has anyone ever HEARD of Nemo? I cannot seem to find a trace of them on the internet anywhere - I don't think they make parts any more - but I was wondering whether this is high-end or low-end stuff?

Last month I bought at an auction some small blocks, same as in your description. Black with orange. Make : 'nemo". Searching the internet I saw your question, but I also found the manufacturer. It's in Italy: Nemo Industries. http://www.nemoindustrie.com. They do not have any of the blocks in their catalogue. In my opinion the blocks are meant for trimming sails. I will use them for small boats such as the Optimist.
