There are quite a few members who have used them, all with positive feedback as far as I can tell......
Look in the search function.....
I'm sure some will chime in.....:)

What he said... I have one. The only problems were self-inflicted. Raul still helped me through it.

sweet....thanks, his prices seem pretty hard to beat for what i need. my mechanic though is insistent that rapidos engines have to be hot tested before he installs it......raul said to check his website out for all the answers but its not very clear if and what they are run up to before being stripped back down to a long block for sale and shipping......

hes gotta run them up before he sells em right??? or am i wrong

Not necessarily. Ask your mechanic if he wants to bench test it maybe?

What's he worried about, that the engine will come DOA? If there are any problems, Rapido has a good history of fixing 'em...

Re: Anyone ever use Rapido Marine???

i think hes concerned that i could feasibly get it in the boat, and in a month it could blow up, and Id be out an engine. He is giving me quotes for a long block from merc and jasper, and they are like 3500bucks atleast.....but the are ran up to 5 or 6000 rpm before they leave the factory. and even though the engine would be paid for via warranty......id have to shell out the labor again if something did happen....
