So looks like one of my two secondary ignition coils in my 1983 Mariner 25c 695(made by Yamaha) is bad and of coarse, they don’t make them anymore. the part number stamped on the side of the coil says CM61-25 and it has either a gray or orange colored wire coming out one side and the spark plug wire coming out the other. I cannot seem to find any of these but can find plenty of CM61-26 coils. these have an extra short black ground wire coming out the same side as the orange or gray wire. Any idea what the difference between these two coils is?
