Im in delaware and launch my boat off of the bowers beach ramp or the miss pillion river inlet to the bay. Im looking to find some fishing hot spots in GPS form. I found the locations of the artifical reefs from the Department of natural recources site and also found the litehouse thats 11 miles out from bowers. I lost an ancor at the site that DNREC said that they sunk some rail road cars, should have known better then to drop ancor there. I did catch croakers there like crazy. Ive only fished the delaware bay 2 times and as a kid i remember going to some hot spots but i was a kid and had no idea where we were. Any help would be apreciated. I have a older gps unit where i have to manually input the gps locations but if i know them its no problem. Thanks!!

Took a ride last week down to Newark, DE to buy some gear. Couldn't help but notice the vast numbers of people trailering boats in every direction. Is Delaware Bay the purposely kept quiet Shangri-La?? Inquiring minds want to know! I personally was astounded by the number of types of crab pots in the marine supply store I went to. ...and I do love crab... and clams! Come on guys, share some knowledge! I'm in NY and only transient fish are "safe".
