Anyone fish in the Napa river? I need advice.

I've been fishing in the Napa river for a few years now and up until this last year, it's been great for striper. Then last summer they opened up those levies and made the wetland area or whatever. Now the fishing up river BLOWS! The Sea Ranch area is worthless and even up river at a few other spots has gone south. I need some new spots on the river. I have a small 12ft boat and don't mind going out in the sloughs or even out way past marker 7 to get passed the mess the opened levies has caused for up-river fishing. I've been told Sac. River has been great for Striper, but it's 1:40 drive each way to get there where as Napa is about 40 minutes. Any advice for Striper in the Napa river? Anyone had luck further down the river towards South Slough or Dutchmans Slough? I'm tired of spending all day for nothing. Hopefully some day I'll get a bigger boat and be able to hit the more solid places out in San Pablo, but until then, I need some advice on where the Striper have gone. I don't need your specific secret spot, just an area to try now that my normal spots have turned to crap.
