Anyone going fishing today?

I should be heading out about 2:00. I am at work right now trying to get everything done so I can get out. Had our first major cold front come thru last night. dropped from 92 degrees to a high of 63 today. Fishing should not be too good but who cares. I think I am going to try a slow Texas rig worm off the points and see what happens. Any other advice for me before I head out? Anyone live near Joe Pool lake, in Texas that would like to join me? SBN, do you think you could make it to Texas before 2:00? Maybe hitch a ride with some of them alien friends of yours.

Skeeter Try a weightless senko rigged weedless or wacky style fished slow on outside weed edges near drop offs. Also I like to work a J+P slow on the drop offs sometimes as deep as 20 foot this time of year. The fishing has been tuff around here the last couple of weeks. I am hoping the fall bite gets in full swing soon. <br /><br />Good luck,, hope you nail another one of those 6 pounders,, uh,,, I mean 9 pounders
