Anyone have manual for 2002 Merc 4 Stroke?

Just bought a used carbureted 2002 Merc 4 stroke and am looking for a manual. Wish it was a darn Yamaha (I guess it's pretty close!) as the manuals are online as PDFs but Merc makes you buy them...sign of what's to come for me? Kidding aside I know the Yamaha F80/F100 is close but I think the warning alarms etc. are different (Yammies have an hour gauge at the dash no?) and I want to clearly know what my merc will and won't warn me of....

A service manual would be sweet too, bud I expect harder to come by. Any recommendations?

I highly recommend you make it a point to state the horsepower of the Mercury 4-stroke you are asking about. You'll get more complete answers that way.

The most through manual you can buy is the expensive official Mercury factory manual for the engine, available through your dealer. If you don't have a dealer nearby, BAM Marine in Florida is one of several sources where you could purchase a manual online.

Oops, sorry, meant to of course, it's a 90 hp. Yamaha powerhead with 4-cyl, 3 carbs (I think).
