I recently got a 1987 bayliner with I/O Volvo Penta 2.3L AQ131A. When I got the boat the motor wasnt running, trim system wasnt working, and cooling system sucked. I think i fixed all of these problems. Now I just want someone who knows what they are doing to check over the motor to see if it is safe. i know i need a timing adjustment and idle speed lowered, but I would prefer someone else to check those for me. Besides that maybe double check my cooling system.<br /><br />I have replaced almost all the electrical parts of the boat in order to get the trim working. It was blowing fuses and burning the coils in the relays. The cooling system needed a new impellar and good cleaning. I had water coming out the exhaust for awhile then it looked like it was vaporizing from the heat, not sure on this one. Not to good with the cooling system. Its has a heat exchanger and has the sea water pump system. Just need someone to look over the work. This is my first boat and first time working on a boat. I would just prefer some help and advice thanks.<br /><br />Jeff
