I have a stainless AMT backup .380 with 2 clips (added the aluminum ends). It 23 years old and has fired about 100 rounds.

I don't shoot anymore and since my kids are getting older, I don't even want it in the house.

I would be willing to sell to a dealer for much less than retail, but I don't want to give it away if I don't have to.

Thanks for any input.

marty take it to any gun show and some one out side will buy it or tell you what its worth or to a good gun shop in town they have a book that can show you what its worth.

Kudos on the gun in the house!

What are you going to do when a bad guy breaks in? Use harsh language?

Do you mnd if I ask why you are giving up your firearm?

I like to see the reasons why people give up their firearms. I hope it has nothing to do with the government's and media's brainwashing about how guns are so terrible. If it is...then they won. Don't let them take our rights away!

H.

No hand gun, but do have Moseberg 12ga. that I keep beside the bed.

My kids are grown and out so I don't worry to much, but when the grandkids come over it is locked in the gun cabinet.

Homerr

Nothing really that dramatic on giving up a hand gun.

I live in the suburbs, so no shooting out the back door (or anywhere else). I got a bunch of dogs, so I'm not really worried about burglars.

Unless the gun is loaded and you can get to it in seconds, it's really pretty worthless as a protection device, anyway.

I don't really want go give up my right to keep and bear arms, I just want to get rid of an uneeded liability.

Besides I still have a .22 rilfe and a 12Ga, just in case the rioters show up ;)

Marty

Atta boy!

Just don't want you to give up guns! Protect your rights and family.

I agree..if you can't get to it, or don't know how to use it, then get rid of it.
I have one of those speed-hand gun safes under my bed. A few clicks and it's open.

I also keep my trusty 12 gauge handy. This is by far the best home defense weapon (next to a flame thrower...lol)

H.
