Anyone know anything about 96 23ft Eurosport center consoles? Good? Crap? Run away?

I am considering buying a 1996 Eurosport 23 foot center console with a Mercruiser 4 cylinder I/O. I know nothing about this brand and have not seen any around before. Is there anything I should watch out for? Anyhting to pay particular attention to when inspecting or any bad/good information out there? Anybody know anything good or bad about these?

looks fast, but would not get out of the hole. it would be a slug. imho. needs a 4.3L

I agree, the owner says it jumps out of the hole quickly, but top speed is low 30s. It is probably propped accordingly for the HP to still get out of the hole quickly. The boat looks really clean and everything is in great working order. I'm not too concerned about the power because it is VERY easy to swap in a merc V8 later on down the line since it has tha Alpha outdrive. If I got the boat, I would plan on doing that for sure.

I am most concerned about any inherent bad traits of the hull or manufacturer. The owner told me that the floor is soft on the left side. He said he never noticed it until someone else pointed it out......not the most boat-knowledgeable guy, maybe not at all....

I wonder about wooden stringers, faom under floor, etc? Anybody know anything about these hulls?
