Anyone know of a place to find old johnson parts?

Having a hard time finding some parts for my 1977 70hp Johnson. Mainly the starter and the steering link arm....Thanks.

Your original starter, part # 386657 has been superceded to 586281. Bombardier has stock on that starter. See your local dealer.

You can buy parts from BRP online. Go to http://shop.evinrude.com/ Then above the picture that appears, click on "parts". Then a list of Evinrude years appears. You have to change that to "Johnson" by clicking on the drop-down box. Once you get there, just follow the prompts.
