In the Denver to Cheyenne area. Or would I have to special order it in these parts. Also looking for good epoxy resin in this area so I don't have to pay shipping on it.

You probably have your reasons to use Marine grade, but you might consider top quality exterior grade plywood and epoxy resin.
The marine stuff is definitely better if you want to spend that much money, but exterior plywood (adx I think) will give similar results will less damage to your wallet!

Do a search on this forum about plywood.
Lots of good ideas.

I worked a few years at Marlin Boats, and based on the voids I seen in the wood they used... It was NOT marine grade. I image most mass-production boat builders do the same. At least on their lower-end models.

H.

Re: Anyone know where to buy Marine Plywood

I just rebuilt the interior seating frames in my dad's 78 taylor SS and did it all in Pressure Treated exterior plywood. Since I was covering it in upholstery, the greenish cast didn't matter, nor did the finish being CDX. If you are exposing it to view, I would go to a top-quality Exterior grade plywood and then seal it from the water as best you can. I can say from the experience of replacing engine cover/sundecks on the Taylor, I have built 3 now, that you certainly CANNOT 'glass over teh top of sealants like Thompsons Water Seal. It refuses to adhere of course. Good luck.

I like a nice 7 ply birch nicely encapsulated in a couple coats of west system 105 slathered on like honey...............
With good resin and glass you can use saltine crackers for you deck if you want to.
