Well...bent the bejesus out of my SS prop. I don't even know how! No local shops that I am aware of here in extreme NW Georgia that perform such a repair, so I am looking to mail my poor broken prop to a shop to have it repaired. I have seen several online that advertise a 'mail-in' repair for a little over a hundred...if anyone has good or bad experience with any of these shops, I'd love to hear about it!
Only one blade was damaged...I suspect the teenage helper may have lowered the outdrive a bit too far during the launch.

If you can contact one of these 'mail-in' places ahead of time and email them your pic. of the prop, they may be able to zoom in on a price for you. (it may not be just $100 based on what the blade looks like)

Then you could compare that to what you could grab off of eBay, being careful to get one that will fit your outdrive ( it looks like a Mercruiser Alpha).

Thats a good suggestion, getting a quote from the mail-in shop!
I've already ordered a replacement prop, so I'm in no rush. But I do want to get this one repaired...if I can get it at a reasonable price.
And you are correct, its an Alpha One Gen 2.
