1960's roller skating competition that at times was sort of tag team wrestling on wheels.<br /><br />Little Ralphie Valaderez was the goodie for one team as I recall.<br /><br />Shirley somebody was a butch baddie on the women's team.<br /><br />Top fun to watch people copping an elbow in the throat trying to pass the opposing team off a ? whip ?; people getting flung over the high side rails; and just belting the bejesus out of each other with chairs in the centre when all else failed.<br /><br />What happened to the competition and TV show?<br /><br />Why hasn't it been revived on in-line skates? Could do some real damage at those speeds. Great TV.
