i am thinking of switching out the stove type choke i have on my mercruiser for the electric conversion i have seen for sale. I dont think the stove mounted one on the intake manifold works anymore or works very little. has anyone done this conversion?

Howdy,

I have an electric choke on my 454.

But since I don't boat when the weather is "cold" I just adjusted it to full "open" and disconnected it.

You live in the land of the endless summer......you might not even need a choke....

Cheers,
