Anyone trailering a RIB & Jet Ski????

Hi All -

I'm not sure where to start sicne it could be one of three areas. I own a 12 ft APEX RIB with a 6 ft beam (70 inches to be exact). I am thinking of purchasing a Jet ski - beams seems to be in the range of 48 inches.

Anyone have a dual PWC trailer using this setup? Seems as if the RIB is just a little too big.

I am hoping for a side by side arrangement versus front & back (follow the leader) due to storage of the trailer.

Any ideas??

Why don't you just tow 2 trailers behind each other?

George-
Unless the PWC is an early stand-up model, they'll be too wide to bunk side-by-side.
How 'bout a double-stack trailer? This video shows a sailboat but it should be capable to fit any small boat:

Here's a couple shots of double-stacks:

Thanks all -- looks as if I gotta go with something specialized or not at all.

Hey George , new to the forum, but saw your post and wanted to reply. I have an inflatable on one side of my double trailer with a three seater on the other side. It fits, but barely...not sure the beam, but don't think it's nearly as wide as yours. That said, I don't have a particularly wide double trailer. There was a company out of michigan called Eagle trailer - not sure if they are still in business but years ago I had a double jetski trailer from them..it was huge...very sturdy, and expensive compared to the standard galvanized trailers you see like I currently have. It was considerably wider, and in my estimation would easily accomodate what you're looking for. By that reasoning, if they aren't around, someone probably is. I'd search around the net a bit. JTI trailer is also very helpful and once years ago converted a double jetski trailer of mine to hold a jetski on one side and my ninja motorcycle on the other...they may be able to help you out in sourcing a trailer or modifying one. They are at 271s at forbes/broadway exit, south on the access road toward alexander rd - they are on the right. Hope this helps! Go cavs!!:D

It will definitely work with a larger double. My jetski I had on one side was a 1200cc 3 seater.
