I use it in my ATV and I am going to try it in the boat. They say it's good stuff. I'm just wondering if anyone else uses it. Anyone tried putting it in with your oil? Results?

Re: Anyone use SeaFoam as stabilizer?

I put a full can in with my last fill up before running my boat the last time on the lake. When I top off with 10-12 more gallons (35 gallon tank) before winter storage, I will likely add a marine stabilizer in addition to the sea foam in there for extra protection.

Not in my boat, but in cars and trucks I have put it in the oil about 500 miles before an oil change, as well as run it through the brake booster while the engine is running. Maybe down the road I will use it in my boat too in these ways, but at 50 hours my oil looks so squeaky clean I see no need yet.

Re: Anyone use SeaFoam as stabilizer?

I joined a couple of years ago and heard about it in here. I scoffed at it because they talked about decarboning. Well, to my pea brain, carbon went out with leaded gas.

Well one day I was surfing and ran across the chemical formula for gasoline (at least one type) and carbon atoms were all over the place. Hmmmmmmmmm

So I got some and the rest is history. Every tank gets some. How much, depends on when I quit pouring. Works in the boat, old farm truck, old farm tractors, to be scrapped but now not gonna be old weed eaters and lawn mowers. Use it in diesel, gas, 2 and 4 cycle engines; everything on the place that is internal combustion and get noted results.

I buy it by the case.

Best stuff I've used yet! Use it in boat , snow machine , lawn mower , 4wheelers , if it has a motor and sits for any length of time , in goes the Seafoam!:)
Great stuff!!

I brush my teeth with it and I haven't noticed any carbon build up on my teeth !

okay, seriously, I do use it in the mowers, friend's quads, boat, motorcycle, and both vehicles.

LOL. And I thought it was best used as a gargling mouthwash.

Use it for cologne. The girls you are interested in are really attracted to it.

You guys are too much. Just this morning my wife and I were talking about wearing cologne outside when the honey bees are active......obviously they think you are a flower.

Sea Foam just might work. Grin
