Anyone Use Tapatalk?

Sometimes when I get on iBoats, as well as some other forums, I get a prompt saying this forum has an app for my Droid phone: tapatalk.

I read the description of the program and watched a video about it. However, I don't see what it does for me that the iBoats forum doesn't already do. Maybe this forum's software has more features than other forums.

What am I missing here? Anyone use it?

I think its a speech to text deal so you don't have to type. I've thought about DLing it but haven't yet. I tend to just wait until I get home to post something as I HATE trying to type a post on my phone.

I know I've read at least one post that said "posted w/ tapatalk" but I can't remember who it was and he/she may not read this section.

I didn't see speech recognition in the description which surprised me since "talk" is in the name of the software.

However, Droid phones already have that capabity. Icve used it. So, again tapatalk doesn't seem to add any functionality.

Well the iPad uses touch for navigation. Using a normal browser with the normal forum pages still works on the iPad, the tapatalk software is more optimized for touch navigation for the forums.
