I bought this on ebay yesterday. I don't know anything about it. Do you? Do these have a water pump? I'm assuming the powerhead is aircooled. Any idea on year or what years golden jets were produced?

Your motor was built by Eska.It uses a Tecumseh air cooled power head with a water cooled exhaust leg.I don't have info on Golden Jet but Eska info will work And the Tecumseh model number will help to date it.Certified parts corp may be able to help as well.Parts for the powerhead should be available at a small engine shop. There should be someone along with more specific info.In my opinion the Eska based motors are at best adaquate.I think they do require careful attention.Especially the fuel system.

Thanks steelespike. I only plan on using it for a mooring runner so if it runs at all, that will be good enough.
