Well last week gas was down anywhere from 11-17 cents to its lowest point in the past 5 months. I got an empty tank and the boating season is almost over, and my schedule makes it all but over. (I saw gas for 2.29/gal just today in Michigan)

So, do I fill up this weekend of should I wait another week or two or five?

2.14 here in Baytown, dropping 2-5 cents about every 2-3 days.

I would wait until mid fall. Right before the first major cold front is expected.

My non expert opinion that I pulled out of the air is that you will see another 30 cent drop in the price in the next two months.

Right price here in Baytown should be about $1.80 per gallon.

Pointer,do not even wait until next week. You live in Wisconson.
That means that you may have a snowstorm by this weekend.

Why fill up for winter anyway? No proof that a full tank is better. Lots of speculation on full Vs empty, but do whatever feels good. Use Chevron or another quality gasoline and don't worry.

I'm a creature of habit and my dad taught me years ago to fill er up and mix in stabil. Besides its like 80 gallons and running her dry would just be a waste. Last year I think I paid $1.80/gal when I put her up. Like $2.60 when I took her out this spring.d:)

Nothing but that lowsy hybrid gas around here. What a shame.

Gas will not go back up until after the Nov. elections, then the gloves come off again.

Another shot, economy in a downward turn, watch for the prime rate to begin dropping through the first of the year. Buy bonds.

Do not recommend leaving hybrid gas in engine, if you are storing at least run some pure stuff into it.

At least wait til it starts to go up again. No telling how low it will go.

I'd love to but it's more like a hop, skip and a long 60 mile jump to the boarder. :'(
