Anyone with Chrysler knowledge??Help!

I've got a 1973 30hp motor model#305HA.It is an electric start remote model.I was told that a bolt came out of the flywheel and damaged the coil.After disassembling the mag assembly I found out that it was part of the stator plate had broken and spun around and damaged points and condensors.I have a parts catalog for it and I don't see anything resembling the coil anywhere on the motor,where is it located and what does it attach to,also thespark plug wire ends were shredded,what do they attach to?Any help is appreciated.I am a definite rookie with Chrysler.I just want to get it going so I can teach my 3 yr old daughter about catfishing!!<br /><br />------------------<br />MP

I'm not sure, but if i remember right, the coil is under the flywheel.Magneto-triggered.<br />Can't find the ol book on it, but will repost if I can find it.<br />If it is, the magneto is the coil.<br /><br /><br />------------------<br />Time to change my tagline

Hi Catfish,<br />The stator part no for under the flywheel coils is 12346. The one for the external coils mounted back by the head is 12366.
