noticed today that when I put my drive into gear it makes a slight whine type noise. It will increase in tone as the rpm increases and then seems to disappear after 11oo rpmor so. Or at least I can't hear it over the engine. The gearcase was re-sealed over the last winter. I do know that a .005 shim was added to the forward gear as the backlash was on the high end of the spec. After the shim it was at the lower end of the spec .019" dry. Could this cause the whine?
