Nope that pump is exclusive to Volvo marine engines and no aftermarket available.

Well thats what i was afraid of.. is their a type of rebuild kit i could get for it.? altho i dont think i feel comfortable doing that myself.. i mean i would like best about putting oem volvo parts on, but $350 is alot of shells for a water pump.

Surely there is sum distributor rebuilding the used ones?. does anyone know of any remanufactures out there....

Re: AQ125 A Water Pump.!!! What's next??

On another boating forum, this topic on the AQ125 is discussed much more thoroughly (like U-joints are discussed here)

The AQ125 is the same as the B21 automotive motor. Many people have bought a water pump for a B21 motor and had a local machine shop with a good press swap out the guts of the two housings as the two housings are slightly different.

B21 water pumps run around 50 new, 15 used in a junkyard, and a local machine shop might charge you an hour labor to swap out the guts. You're back up and running for $100 or less.

Waiting for the day myself.....
