I have noticed that I have water leaking from what I believe is called the exhaust grommet. As near as I can tell, it is leaking from the space between the grommet and the rubber connector between the grommet and the exhaust manifold. Is this common and can anyone provide help as to how to fix it?

Thank you. Here is a pic.

Simply snug up the clamp. If that does not work, loosen the clamps, slide it up or down a bit and try to clean the seating surfaces, and re-attach. If still no luck you may have to replace it as it is just wore out and stiff. By moving it up and down to clean the surfaces you can inspect the metal surfaces to see if they are getting corroded and pitted also.

Thank you, grub1grub2. After posting my question, I re-examined the situation and actually ended up doing exactly what you suggested. Both metal surfaces needed some cleaning as did the inner surfaces of both ends of the rubber connector. After cleaning, I tightened everything back up and, voila, no more leaking. Thank you again for your help! That ended up being an easy one.
