hopefully you guys can help me out with some ideas here. i need to use trolling bags to get to my speeds. my idle is about 2.5 mph and my bags get me down to about 1.2 which is great. these are 28 inch bags so there is alot of load. after about three hours the engine will start to stall. this being a closed cooling system is it possible that after a time the heat is causing this? engine runs at around 180 to 190 like it should. idles at 900 like it should. there is a hesitation when accelerating which I'm going to adress shortly. i.e. carb rebuild this year and possibly getting an electronic ignition. trying to figure out what is causing this. i did replace the coil last year and i noticed the wires connecting to the coil were brittle from heat so i stripped them and put new connecters on. any thoughts would be aprreciated. thanks guys.
