Hello all, figured I would make an intro here since I will be here most.

I bought a '72 Glastron Carlon CV16 over the winter and have got her running. Still working out a bunch of bugs.

Right now I've got oil in the bilge. There is no obvious source of leakage as far as I can tell, most of it looks like it came from the dipstick tube. That makes me think the crankcase breather system might be clogged. There is no PCV valve that I can see (or is there?) Is the oil cap a breather?

Some motor history:

rebuilt 2 years ago w/ receipts
rebuilt Solex carbs w/ receipts
good compression on all four cylinders (155 PSI)
new NGK B7HS plugs gapped at .028"
just changed oil and filter

Other bugs:
bogging down at WOT (fuel contaminants found in filters, need to pull tank)
milkshake in outdrive
leaking oil from bellows - milkshakey oil
drip from water pump housing
drip from copper cooling lines

That is probably your oil leak in the bilge as well. The milky oil is going past the bearings and seals in the flywheel cover and leaking into the bilge. Bet if you pull the starter it's covered with rust or the milky mess as well.

That makes sense. So I should pull the starter first to verify?
