What would cause large amounts of fuel to shoot out both solex carbs at the same time?
I was doing some engine running yesterday, checking the temp and idle, got the motor running ok.
Today I went to work on it again.
Because I live in Arizona and the boat is in my garage i didn't pump the throttle to start. Just turn the key.
It started and brought the rpm upto 1500, then large amounts of fuel shot out on the vent hole on both carbs and the same time. I stopped the motor.
I could hear noises coming from both carbs, like the noise a toilet makes as it is refilling. Never heard this before.
Pulled the plugs and turned over the engine, fuel came flying out.
Any ideas?
