AQ131A dwell question

I can't seem to get 62 degrees of dwell on this engine. I set the points on the bench to .016 and it ran great, but dwell was around 50 degrees. When I close the points the dwell gets lower, but I think I'll end up around .025 to get 62 degrees of dwell. Is that going to be an issue?

Are you sure you have your dwell meter on 4 cylinder? 62? of dwell is .016.

I have an old Sears dwell meter with a 6cyl and 8cyl scale. It says for 4 cyl double the 8 scale which would bring me to around 50 degrees. I'll see if my neighbor has a dwell meter with a 4 cyl scale on it.
