AQ171 Exhaust question

Hi there,<br /><br />I posted a message in july for help with my engine belt problems, tanks to everyone who helped me with that.<br />However, since summer has passed without "boating", I decided to take a closer look at both engines.<br />I found some water spikes on the valves of the last cylinder, so my fear is the exhaust is leaking...<br />Is there a way to check this?<br /><br />I already asked the price for 2 exhausts...<br />I'm still shaking... 4000 euros!!!<br />Did a quick search on the internet, and in the States it's under 2000$ for both!<br />Problem: It's a long way from home...<br /><br />Frank.

Not sure if you still have a problem but I had to replace the exhaust manifolds on both of my AQ 171Cs. They cost me about £550 each from a company called Keypart in the UK. They were genuine Volvo parts but not Volvo prices!<br /><br />Michael

Hey Frank !! Where did you find that price for <br />the manifolds ( under 2,000)?, I have been looking , and it worksout to about $1500.00 ea , for the manifold , the peice that goes between the manifold and the rubber , the seal, and the freeze plugs.
