Aquasport225

I'm thinking about buying a 97 aquasport225 with a 200hp evinrude .. Is evinrude out of buissness? You must be able to get parts right? And I heard that Aqua Sport boats have a reputation like Bayliner did, is that true.. Thanks for any information..

Here in south Florida the Aqua Sport line is considered by many to be at the mid quality level and certainly well above the BL.<br /><br />A 225 with a 200 Aqua is a good combination. Evinrudes are no longer made by OMC as they are out of business and were taken over by Bombadier. Parts should be no problem for many years to come. From reading this forum I know that there were many big time problems with the larger OMC motors but I think they were mainly in the 1999-2000 models. Do some research using the search function to get the specifics.
