are mariner 150 efi reliable and up to the task?

hi: i have in my boat an evinrude 235 crossflow and it has given me some problems since its an old outboard.
i am planing on repowering a answer supreme 21 cuddy cabin that weights 2,100 lbs aprox. i would like to know if a 150 mariner efi would be a good match for that size and weight and also would like to know if they are reliable ? i'll appreciate your help
