"But Harstad said that was no reason to begin killing off the entire moose population."

That's cracking me up. "Noooooooo. Don't do that!!!! Maybe after we get all of the humans back in caves, but killing the mooses must be a last resort!! What are we trying to save here anyway? We need the meese for the visual enjoyment of those of us left that will not have to live in the caves because we figured this out and deserve to see live meeses out our windows in the homes we still have because again we deserve to live better because we saved the planet. Yeah, that's it."

Blechhhhh. You know I concluded long ago that the only answer is human extermination. I vote we exterminate those who are passionate first. They are obviously the most concerned and would be proud to sacrifice their lives for the cause.

YAHOO article said:
"Moose have very important functions in nature. They are ruminants that eat the grass. If we don't have ruminants, we have too much grass and that changes the landscape and has consequences for the flora and fauna," he said.
They don't have lawn mowers over there?

He's talking about carbon emissions from moose belching. Wonder if he factored in the other end of the moose - RF's favorite end.

Bovine flatulance IS one of the major contributors to greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.

"Yes. Ill have the 24oz Prime Rib with the large side of BBQ ribs. No salad, thank you. Just doing my part to combat global warming.":D

The article I read regarding Scandhovian Moose or Meese talked about Rubber's bidness end, :D:D , as well as the burpin'; (did not read this one, [that started this thread] yet). JR :D:D

"...2,100 kilos of carbon dioxide a year through its belching and FARTING." (Caps added)

Hmmmm, makes me wonder this "If the internal combustion engine wasn't invented, that means we would all be using horses. A horse is similar to a moose. So therefore global warming would be worse than it is now.

Besides, quit mowing your yard, it produces the much needed oxygen and consumes CO2. Also it is costing me too much to do mine. Think I will just mow the required 12 feet around my house.

There is no such thing as global warming - it's global climate change. That way if it starts cooling (like they were panicking about in the 70s) those so inclined can still say it's our fault. Get with it already.
