We had some electronic equipment these batteries came out of here at work my boss said I could just have them for free they have to replace them every two years if they're good or bad anyway question is can I use them in my boat there's three of them I was thinking about hooking one of them up to my starter battery so that I have two batteries for my starter and my depth finder and then taking the other two and wiring them in line with my two front for my trolling motor then I would have four batteries for my 12v trolling motor and I can probably troll for a week straight without charging just want to make sure their batteries that I can do this kind of stuff with, thanks

Boat : 2004 Crestliner superhawk with a 75hp 4stroke Yamaha

Yes you can use so long as you don't charge them with an alternator, spec shows 28 amp charge rate, but you do have an OB. Also being only 280 watts there not going to be a lot of help for very long. They come out of a UPS or similar?

Since there free I guess you might as well try but I don't think they'll be much good too you. The first thing I would do is look up the charging specifications. They may not necessarily like being charged by your alternator. Also, mixing types and sizes of batteries is generally a bad idea. All batteries wired together in a bank should be the same type, age, and size for proper charging and discharging. The battery says max 280 watts. Really? That's only about 20 amps. That's not going to cut it with a starter or a trolling motor I don't think.
