Are These Risers Still Good?

So these risers are about 27 years old but never been taken in salt and were taken out of a boat with about 400 hours on it. I'd love to reuse them but not sure if they're in good enough shape or not! I was thinking of running a wire brush down in there to clean them up a bit as well. For those of you who know what are your thoughts?

I think that's the manifold not the riser, but yes they look good. The area between the water ports and the Exhaust passage is the critical, part. It is still flat and uncorroded. You can run a file or and orbital sander with coarse grit to remove the light scale and reuse them.

You have to clean it first, then check the gasket mating surfaces and you may have to perform an acetone test as well

They look OK, but after you clean up the mating surfaces, you will know for sure.

Also take a good look at the other end, shine a bright light in the exhsust gas passage to make sure you don't see flaking rust inside. This can loosen from engine vibration and fall into the center exhsust passage and could wind up in an exhaust port (not good!)
