Are Trim Tabs the Answer for List? Leveling the Deck Boat while On Plane

I'm loving the new boat but one issue is it leans to the left (from the drivers perspective looking forward, sorry never have been good at the port & starboard thing).

I'm sure this is caused by a couple of reasons. 1. The trolling motor batteries are located on that side of the boat, 2. The 15gallon fresh water tank is on that side of the boat & 3. There is more seating on that side due to the deck boats configuration.

Would installing trim tabs adjust that? Would they be the fixed variety or would I need the electric adjustable ones?

I have zero experience with any boat that has tabs.

Boat is a 2016 Tahoe 215Xi 21ft deck boat with the 250hp 4.5L Mercruiser motor.

Appreciate any insights you can provide.

Thanks!

'Port' has the same number of letters as 'left'.
For what you are wanting to achieve, fixed tabs are probably your best bet.

I have to say that the best answer would be remotely adjustable electric Trim Tabs. The problem with fixed Tabs is that they will only correct the list well for one exact set of circumstances, i.e. the same speed and same weight distribution. So if more or less folks sit on that side or your water tanks empty, the fixed Tabs will not balance it out. But the adjustable ones can correct it a t the push of the switch.

Please...PLEASE go the Coast Guard site and read up on "Rules of the Road". If you don't know basic seamanship you're a danger to yourself, your passengers and other boaters. That is MUCH more important than a slight list...Port/Starboard/Fore/Aft/Stand-on/Give-way/CBDR...all sorts of good stuff to learn.

As far as the tabs, yes....adjustable will solve your issue and will be a welcome addition. I have the Bennett tabs and really like them.
