I have a 2005 Tracker 175 and the areator isn't working. I checked the fuse and it's good. It's driving me crazy with there being so little room to get to the areator to check it. I have removed the battery and this gives me just enoungh room to reach it. The areator is a Mayfair model. By researching this model, I found that supposedly the motor can be removed while leaving the casing in place by lifting the black lever on the side and twisting the top. Seemed like a good design until I tried to flip the plastic lever and it broke off in my hand. This must lock the top on because I can't get it to twist off. The only thing that I know to do at this point is to replace the unit, but there just doesn't seem to be enough room to do this without removing the gas tank. I just can't believe working on or replacing an areator can be this hard. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

Sorry, can't help you. Just gonna suggest you post this in the "Boat -not engine section" I think more people will see it. Good luck...
