Armstrong Swiftlock Plus Laminate Flooring

Anyone here have any experience with particular brand of laminate flooring ? The wife bought enough to do one bedroom and closet. When we started installing per the instructions on the box, internet and Lowe's website....this stuff doesnt seem to lock together very well. I stopped laying it out until I can get some feed back or she herself decides to pay someone else to do it.

I'm no carpenter AT ALL.... wrenches, torches and welders are my DIY things.

Armstrong should go together pretty good.... its the cheaper brands like pergo that really stink.

The trick to that stuff is putting together a full line at once, instead of 1 piece at a time.

Follow the example in the previous post and use a block of wood and hammer to tap it in working form one end to the other tapping as you go. As you tap it in it will lay flat once it is tapped all the way in. Did my first one last fall and was aprehensive having never done it before, but once I got going it went quick and easy. Wouldn't hesitate to do another room.
