Wondering if someone could please help me with some basic questions. Old boat was givin to me and have ripped out the floor( rotted) and the foam(water saturated). Getting ready to reinforce the stringers and add new foam and fiberglass the stringers in. Do I need to use the 2 part floatation foam? And resin or opoxy? Hope someone can help you guys seem to have some good suggestions.

Really new to all of this. How do I know if the foam was structural?

WElcome to the arrowglass family.

My viper's foam was NOT structural.. I 'll bet (but don't rely on this) your's is not either.

Good luck with her.

Where do you live in Utah. I am in Hurricane (st george area) I'd love to see another arrowglass around here.

I live in kaysville, just 10 min north of SLC. How do I find out for sure the structural properties of the foam that was there? Ill post a pic of the stripped boat(that is if I can get them to post, can't get my other ones to post)
