arrr.... 6hp evinrude acting up again

Well my 1997 6hp 2cilinder 100/1 gas mix outboard stars ut does not go tofull RPM. I cleaned the Carbarator (I am using someone elses) and there is black soot coming out the exost that stains the back of it.....???? all fuel lines re also clean!<br />Please help I need full rrrpppmmm.....

why are you using a ratio of 100:1 ?

You should be using 50:1 mix. With luck your problem may be a stuck carb.float or the choke may<br />be sticking partially on. good luck.

I have cleaned the carbs. it says to use a 100 to 1 mix.<br /><br />-bill
