Assembling a Sierra Coil

Hey everyone. So I ordered a Sierra coil, part # 18-5176. The kit comes with the coil, the wire, two boots, and two spring like looking deal. I have NO idea how to make this all fit together. My best guess is that the spring goes into the boot so that the section pointing down (the part not in the springy coil) is touching the wire as it is then inserted into the boot. Repeat on the other end, then attach to coil/spark plug. Is this correct, or do I actually have to trim a bit of the wire insulation at the ends and do something else. No instructions come with the kit...kinda sucks if you don't know what you are doing. Thanks in advance. Wish I could send a picture.

the spring goes on the spark plug wire which goes into the coil and u put the boot over the spring and wire. then install spark plug. when putting in new wire or reuse one make sure u put it in the same way as it came out under the flywheel on the magneto
