Astro boats any input?

I have recently come across an 1990 astro fs16 (fish and ski ) I can pickup pretty cheap boat appears to be solid I checked it out pretty good and know what rotted stringers look first hand (thanks previous owner) needless to say its a boat in good shape,trailer, no motor but I got a great 50hp Merc for time being till I come across something bigger i just can't find anything on astro boats any owners out there or opinions.Thanks a lot in advance

My step father had 2 Astros. A 93 17' fish and ski and a 20' bass boat. They were both great boats and took everything he threw at them. Astro and Procraft were the same company and were bought out by Tracker Marine (I think) several years ago.

I don't know how that boat is going to do with a 50 on it though. It may be considerably underpowered.

Thanks for the input I kinda figured its gonna be underpowered I just thought I would put the 50 on till I come across a good deal on something bigger. Thanks again I appreciate the info.
