attaching pics to posts

how do I go about making some pics of my boat the appropriate size for this posting? They are currently 2272x1704 and much too large to be posted here. If anyone can help OR if they'd allow me to send the pics to their email and perhaps THEY can post them, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks

If you have a photo service on your puter you can do it.
Just edit properties of them and select the right size.
Send them to me and I can do it for you and then send them back to you or host them and give you the url to them so you can post them where you want.

You can also use a website such as photobucket.com, like many do on here, to post their pics.

If you hit the POST REPLY and scroll all the way down there is a section to manage attachments. This will allow you to post photos directly from the home PC.

The best size for photos on the net is 640 x 480 pixels. The easy way to achieve this is to get a free resizing program. I like Picasa by Google. It is free and very useful. I create a seperate folder for photos I am going to post and Export them from Picasa to the folder. When you export from Picasa you have the choices of sizes......

Not to confuse issues but I also use Photobucket and I believe that is a "sticky" in this section too. Photobucket also has a resize option.

I use Kodak easyshare to do mine.
Works great.
