Attention Don S! info on omc sterndrive removal

don, do you have a link to an online manual for omc outdrive removal like the mercruiser link you have previously sent other members to ? I have an 87 bayliner 5.7 with an omc cobra sterndrive. Im replacing the motor and i am looking for some info to help make the swap go as smooth as possible. From reading the forums it seems removal of the sterndrive makes the job easier. I have extensive automotive experience but this is my first time working on a boat.

No links for OMC manuals that I have heard of. But then again, I'm not an OMC tech.
But to pull the drive is very simple. Pull the pin that holds the trim cylinders on the outdrive, remove the 6 nuts holding the drive to the pivot housing and pull the outdrive off.
