I can buy a cartridge of 5200 or 4200 at my HD in Spring Hill for $10. I'll stick with the tried and proven...
Aye, I vote for that![]()
Wow Costs me 15 here![]()
Is this product just as effective as 3M 5200 for sealing a garboard brass drain fitting? It appears to have the same ingredients. Thanks in advance.
Same question here, this you?

Seems that it is a Wal-Mart label.
Here in California, WalMart is kinda on the same level as K-mart, Target, and other discount stores and generally have less than superior products under their label.
I do shop there but I don't expect to get a long life out of what I buy there.
My Humble Opinion so please do not try to defend the virtues of the above mentioned stores![]()
3M is pretty protective of their brand. I doubt they do any private-label. However, there are several industrial adhesive manufacturers that will sell in bulk for private-label.Seeing as Attwood buys most of their stuff from other manufacturers and has it privately labeled, the 7200 may very well be 3M 5200...![]()
FYI Attwood is NOT a Walmart label. Attwood is a major supplier of quality marine products. Their 7200 poly-sulfide sealant is on par with 3M 5200.
