I bought one at Walmart for $29 . Was gonna put it on my 72 Glasstron V Hull with 1964 65 HP 650 .
Yes or No?

Some people swear by them, I swear at them. They place a lot of strain on the Ventilation plate. They can cause dangerous handling on some installations, and loss of top speed. Plus they look tacky.

trying to help with my hole shot. takes a good 3-4 seconds for the bought to plane at full throttle drop with a tube behind and the plane s alttle off at lower speeds. .
