Audio alarm sensor

I have a 2003 Kayot with a 5.0 mercruiser. Last week while driving slowly a (2) beep audio alarm went off then the motor shut off. I checked the oil and out-drive reservoir which were fine and re-started the engine, temp was below 170 and all seemed fine. Now every minute on the minute I get (2) loud beeps. Again, checked all (3) items which cause the sensor to go off and they all seem fine. We took it into to the marina which has had it now for a week and they also cannot find anything wrong with it nor can they read the codes because they do not have the type of system that detects the mercruiser codes.

Could this be a defective sensor?

Would it be a good idea to disarm the sensor so we can use it over the weekend until another marina is able to detect the problem?

Re: Audio alarm sensor

Two Alarm beeps every 60 seconds are for:
1.) Faulty cam,
2.) IAC,
3.) MAP,
4.) MAT,
5.) knock sensors.
6.) open/short in the engine cooling temp circuit
7.) open/short in fuel injector wiring circuit,
8.) open/short in oil PSI circuit,
9.) open/short in exhaust manifold cooling temp circuit,
10.) open/short in sea pump circuit, This is the culpret most of the time
11.) open/short in throttle position circuit
