Hey all--
I already know what most of you are thinking, 'here we go again' lol
BUT, I have already or are planning on making all the necessary mods; ignition parts, cooling parts, etc. I have done extensive research on the differences between marine and auto engines, and feel fairly confident that I've got most of the bases covered. I even bought and installed an AQ131 cam, knowing that the cam specs were different for the auto engine. However, the only thing I'm stuck on with this is the oil trap/cooler. It shows one in my manual, right beside the oil filter, but my block does not have any holes there to mount one on. How big of an issue is this, is it a deal breaker? Also, my manual as well as the Volvo website shows a motor mount underneath the engine, however, I can't see anyplace on the hull of the boat itself under the engine where one has ever appeared to be mounted. Once again, how big of a deal is this? Thanks to all for reading my post!!
