Auto shift props - are they still available?

I tried one of those auto shift stainless steel props a few years ago. The bang when they shifted scared me. It seemed as if that could take out the leg gears on the stern drive. So I returned the prop.

Just wondering if they proved to be a bad design or if they are still sold.

Power Pitch pro, made by AeroStar propellers still makes them. I've heard good things about them. Really easy to tune in. 2000 a piece.

I was at Wolfs Marine in Benton Harbor Michigan about a week ago and they had a few new ones sitting on the shelf by Land & Sea. I remember when they came out along with the stren jack. Always got great reviews. I wish I could tell you the price but I don't recall. I know I was surprised to see them. My guess is you could pick one up for $200
