Aux heat hot water supply on Merc 4.3l MPI

Hi all!

I trying to figure out how to connect a defroster to my closed cooling system. At first I bought a Quicksilver "HEAT KIT" #22-72932A6 the dealer even matched my engine serial so that I would get the proper one. But the location of the hot water supply (on the intake manifold I think) was already taken by a hose (number 4 on the picture)

The second picture shows the heat kit's installation manual (for reference), but the location was already occupied.

Can anyone out there tell me where I can connect supply and return without risking to disturb the coolant flow of my engine?

just looking at the cooling schematic (your heat kit pic didnt show up) you should be able to tap into #4 hose for "feed" return from the heater core to the #13. so basicly your pulling from a line after water pump (plenty of pressure to run through the heater core, and returning to a line that acts more like a suction there fore pulling the water through the core and returning to the main res. tank.

Hose # 4 is just a bypass, remove it and plumb in your heater, these are the correct hook up points.
