I am planning to repaint my 1998 Larson using AWL Grip. When I was looking at their product on the website, it said do not apply below the waterline. What is the correct product to use below the waterline? I want the hull to be white and will paint above the waterline with a yellow stripe and above that blue.

Thanks

Re: AWL Grip paint

Do you dock it in a slip?, or trailer it for use?. Awlgrip is good for a few days submerged.

Also, awlgrip isnt designed to be wet sanded, but thats debatable imo.

As zool states as long as it's not a "Marina Queen" and left in the water for the season, you can use just about any paint you want. There are a lot of less expensive alternatives than AwlGrip and they yield excellent durable results. Lots of examples here on the forum if you search for em.;)
